Karanja (Lad), an  ancient place  of  historic and religious importance in Maharashtra is famous for its beautiful Jain temples and as the birth place of Shri Datta Avtar Nrusimha Saraswati. The place is also known as “Jain Kashi of the North”

The Karanja Education Society was established by  late Shri Jinwarsa Chaware in the year 1929 so that the students from the rural areas could afford to take the higher secondary education without going to cities like Amravati, Akola.  When it was asked whether, Tahsil office or school is required at Karanja, late Shri Jinwarsa Chaware demanded school for the people in the region. The society immediately started J.C. High School in the year 1930 for imparting high school and pre-university level education.

As per the new education policy of the government the society started classes from 5th standard and step by step extended it upto class 10th. In the year 1975 as per government's new education policy, 10+2 pattern was introduced. The society responded to this change by starting Junior college and provided facility for imparting Science and Vocational education.

In the year 1988 the Central government aided Minimum Competency Vocational Courses were introduced for promoting self employment capability amongst rural students. The society responded to this policy and started three separate courses under the junior college.

With view to provide education from class 1 to class 12 in the same premises, the society started its primary wing R.J. Chaware Primary School and R.J. Chaware Convent in the year 2002.

The society under the able guidance of Shri. Deokumarji Chaware, President has consistently followed the government policies and tried its best to keep the rural students in pace with the urban students by providing various  facilities  like  computer education, competitive exam. preparation,  vocational education, value education, production oriented training etc. along with the traditional education.

NO PAGE IS LEFT BLANK "

It's a common thing to notice everywhere that once the term end (final exam) gets over, most of the students just throw their notebook or they leave them for kabbadiwalas without separating the blank pages. The no. of blank pages is not just 10-15; it's much more than this.
